Of course we are going to WasteExpo to conduct business. We are looking forward to seeing all our old industry friends – and to make new ones. WasteExpo is one of our favorite conferences in the year and we are excited to see you all. But, if given the opportunity to explore the N’awlins central area, we will try to visit a couple of our favorite local places. First, we’ll try to slip away for beignets and coffee at Cafe Du Monde. Second, we’ll buy a mufelleta at the Central Grocery, and third we’ll try to find the po-boy restaurant in the Garden District that made a gulf shrimp po-boy with green tomatoes and remoulade sauce that was out of this world! We may even slip over to Conchon for a smoked pork experience.
Now that we’ve told you what we’ll be up to, let us offer our advice to you. Do not buy a ticket to the WasteExpo exhibition. Instead register online and use VIP code CR3 as noted in the image above, to receive free admission. It’s easy and FREE!
