Our team was jolted to hear the news that a truly valued team member and colleague has passed. For those who knew Phil Weller, this is quite a blow. A remarkable man who was a dedicated and highly productive member of our team, who was selfless in his work, quick with a hand to help others and always had a smile. Phil has considerable friends throughout the industry having spent years working in Asia, where he married his wife and raised two children. He struggled for years with US immigration to bring his wife to the United States, while he raised his two children here in Louisiana. Good news arrived a short time ago when US immigration announced that his wife would be allowed to relocate to the United States next month. The news of Phil’s passing is extremely painful, especially knowing that his work over the years to return his wife to the US was finally approved. Phil leaves a beautiful legacy among us, as shown through his family – his daughter and two sons.
